The film screened at the Tribeca cinemas just two days earlier to a packed house, turning away dozens of horror fans who had been standing in line for an hour in hopes of catching the film.

Screening before the feature were a number of short horror/sci-fi films, including Attackazoids Deploy!!SinkholeWheels of DeathHunger, and Death In Charge.

When Sweatshop began to a pounding industrial beat, twirling glow sticks illuminated the darkened theater, followed by roaring cheers for every moment of blood and carnage.

Afterward, audience members and Sweatshop cast and crew mingled in the adjoining lounge where free “retro” Sweatshop posters were signed and handed out.
